  • Role-playing scenarios to assess the development of soft skills required in the workplace.
  • Practical demonstrations to assess understanding of the operation of electrical mains, PPEs, and firefighting equipment.
  • Case studies to assess understanding of the 5S concept and its application.
  • Scenario-based questions to assess response to emergencies such as power failure, fire, and system failure.
  • Written questions to assess understanding of the causes and types of fires, and precautions against outbreak of fire.
  • Practical demonstrations to assess understanding of the different types of fire extinguishers and their use.

 Plan Instruction:

The course will be delivered through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, case studies, role-playing scenarios, and practical exercises. The instruction will be designed to cater to the diverse learning styles of the learners.

Identify Resources:

The resources required for the course include lecture notes, instructional videos, practical equipment, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits.

Phase 3: Development

Work with Producers:

The producers will be responsible for developing the instructional materials, including the lecture notes, instructional videos, and practical equipment.

Develop Workbook and Flowchart:

A workbook will be developed to provide learners with a framework for note-taking and to facilitate self-assessment. A flowchart will also be developed to provide a visual representation of the 5S concept.

Phase 4: Implementation

Teacher Training:

The instructors will receive training on the delivery of the course material, including the use of instructional videos, practical equipment, and the assessment methods.

Tryout:

The course will be implemented as a pilot program to a small group of learners to assess the effectiveness of the course material and to identify areas for improvement.

Phase 5: Evaluation

Record Time Data:

The time taken for the delivery of the course material will be recorded to ensure that the course is delivered within the allocated time frame.

Interpret Test Results:

The test results will be interpreted to assess the effectiveness of the instructional methods and the understanding of the learners.

Revise Activities:

Based on the results of the evaluation, the course material and instructional methods will be revised to improve the effectiveness of the course and ensure that the learning objectives are met.

Overall, the ADDIE model provides a structured approach to developing effective instructional material for the ITI Fitter trade course. The model ensures that the course is designed, developed, and delivered in a systematic and effective manner to ensure that the learners achieve the learning objectives. Through the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases, the course material can be continuously improved to meet the needs of the learners and ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their career.
