A: RPL stands for Recognition of Prior Learning, and it is a program
under the Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) offered by the
Directorate General of Training (DGT).
Q: What is the examination format for RPL under CITS?
A: The examination for RPL under CITS consists of a theory paper and
practical exams, which are conducted over a period of six days. The theory
paper is divided into three parts, and the practical exams include
engineering drawing, training methodology practical examination, and trade
practical examination.

examination?
A: The passing marks percentage for each part of the examination is
60%.
Q: Where are the practical exams conducted?
A: All practical exams and engineering drawing exams are conducted at the
concerned National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs), while the online
theory exam is conducted at online exam centres decided by the agency
selected by DGT.

closing of registration for any exam.
