CITS RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) is a DGT scheme for in-service ITI instructors with 3+ years experience to earn the National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) by appearing in AITT (All India Trade Test) directly — without completing the full 1-year CITS training. 📌 Updated Pattern — 600 Marks (Recent Sessions) The CITS RPL AITT pattern has been updated from the older 900/500-mark structure to a consolidated 600-mark pattern for both trade groups. Engineering Drawing is now integrated into the online Trade Theory CBT — no longer a separate 3-hour drawing exam.

Is there negative marking in CITS RPL CBT?

No negative marking. Each correct MCQ = 2 marks. Wrong answer = 0. You should attempt all 100 questions confidently.

What is TM Practical in CITS RPL?

TM (Training Methodology) Practical = 200 marks total with 4 components: Lesson Plan Development (20) + Demonstration Plan (20) + Classroom Teaching (30) + Shop Floor Demonstration (30) = 100, scaled to 200-mark total. Passing = 120/200 (60%). Same for all trades.

Who is eligible for CITS RPL?
